I buy wood slabs from a local lumber mill in Wisconsin who provides quality slabs to choose from with native Wisconsin wood. The wine rack in this listing is made from a cherry wood slab and the color of the epoxy is clear UV rated and then a matte finish applied over the clear epoxy. The wine rack top itself was sanded to 320 grit and hand finished. Clear epoxy allows the natural wood grains to be beautifully displayed.
